It’s the story of
three friends- Akash (Aamir Khan), Sameer (Saif Ali Khan) and Siddharth (Akshaye
Khanna), which is set in Bombey, Goa and Australia post
college days. Its a story of coming to terms with responsibility, love, loses
and appreciating each other. The film is basically one of the best films of last
year, great acting excellent comedy some funky tunes and a good morale message,
friends are forever, unless u piss them off! Akash is a head strong and cheeky
spirit the kind of leader of the pack, who doesn't believe in love. Sameer the
harmless bichara of the group, and believes he is in love every girl he meets,
if that relationship fail's not to worry that special girl in his life is still
out there, definitely some one we can all relate to. Finally Siddharth, a
sensitive mature character, who feels love in his passion for his trade, Art.
The story evolves on how after graduating, their lives changed, as with
different experiences and challenges they came across. In my opinion it has to
be the best film I have seen all year, it relates to everyday life, as there is
an Aakash, Sameer and Siddharth in all our lives. Great co-stars, like Dimple
Kapdia, Preity Zinta, Ayub Khan and Sonali Kulkarni. I can't say too much about
the film, as if I do, I would be giving the story away. The DVD is packed with
extra features and is a two-disc set, including interviews, behind the scenes
etc.
